The form of these cufflinks are captured from real fossils, echoing the process where it was originally transformed from organic matter into stone over millions of years. When these pre-historic sea creatures are transformed into rock, sometimes minerals like pyrite are also included so they look like they turn to (fool's) gold.

A lot of time and care has gone into this piece, to look after it please treat as a ceramic as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Liquids and perfumes should be avoided. It can be cleaned if necessary with a soft clean, dry cloth.
