Utilising fragments from previous makes in Jade’s studio this bangle is an interpretation of geological processes. By reusing waste materials, she is treating them as precious, each fragment has a history of its own in unique colours and combinations from the debris she collects and recycles. In geological processes the rocks of our world are constantly being broken down and creating “new” ones, albeit on timescales beyond our lifetimes.
