This was the very first caddis inspired ring that I made for myself!

Inspired by the caddis cases, designed as an everyday statement ring. The walls are substantial, but smooth and rounded to allow it to nestle comfortably and closely on your finger and not stick out either side with a gorgeous cluster on the top inspired by the shells, pebbles and other organic debris the caddis collects from the bottom of riverbeds and ponds to make it’s armoured cocoon.

Made by me in London with the traditional hallmark for silver including the London leopard.

Available in bright silver, or silver with an antique dark patina.

The Caddis Collection

The Caddis collection is intended to bring you feelings of protection and comfort found in a cosy home. Inspired by the caddisfly larvae, a clever creature which builds its own protective dwelling to house itself whilst in its most vulnerable state. They can be found living in the bottom of our ponds and streams where they gather their favoured materials from their natural environment and build a distinctive structure. Carefully sorted stones, twigs, or shells are all bound by their waterproof silk to be velvety smooth inside for their delicate bodies. This jewellery collection replicates these organic outer textures in rings that appear as mini sculptures which are carefully hand finished to be comfortable to wear. Each ring has a highly polished interior to smoothly hug the finger.

Looking after your silver jewellery

Silver jewellery can get a beautiful patina that darkens over time.

If you prefer, you can clean polished surfaces with a soft dry cloth, or silver cloth. 

Textured surfaces can be gently cleaned with a soft toothbrush and mild soap, or jewellery silver dip. If using dip, please make sure to clean afterwards with a soft toothbrush and mild soap, rinsing well to avoid dip residue tarnishing your jewellery.

If natural pigmentation occurs creating a residue on skin, this can be washed off with soap and water. Clean and dry your ring and hands before putting it back on.
